DBO, Belgium. Service for Vocational Training - Department of Education and Training
The DBO (Vocational Training Service) is an agency of the Department of Education and Training of Flemmish Ministry of Education. Being part of the entity Institutions and Students of Secondary and Adult Education, the DBO deals with vocational training, in the broadest possible sense.
For years, it has also taken part in European projects and has been the co-ordinating organisation for educational projects of the European Social Fund (ESF) within objective 3 and Employment.
An umbrella steering group, composed of the directors-general, the inspectorate-general and the cabinet, presided by the secretary-general, works out its policy.
